ABOUT OUR DOGS . . .

We breed one litter a year.  Our purpose is to produce show quality animals and those that we do not keep ourselves are placed in homes as companions for families.   Some of our all time favorites include the following:

CH Peppertree's Mabel (L) won multiple Specialty BOB's and won the Bred By Exhibitor Class at the BHCA Nationals.  Then she decided she wanted to be a tracking dog.  Every time we took the tracking harness down from the wall, she got excited.  The show ring was okay, but tracking was her love. Her sister CH Peppertree's Madge (R) was of similar quality and at 11 is the queen of the kennel.

CH Peppertree's Dow Jones was an outstanding mover and won the 12-18 class at the BHCA Nationals.

CH Peppertree's Mildred won her first specialty at 6 months and 1 day of age and finished her championship by winning that same specialty 6 months later.

Her son, CH Peppertree's Holy Moley, was WD, BOW and BOB over 76 at the BHCP specialty in July of 2002. He was 6 months and 2 days of age.   He finished from the 9-12 class with 4 majors under breeder judges and ended the year as #6 in Specialty wins in the country.

Two of our favorites were purchased from other kennels.  The most memorable of those was CH Sanchu's Chablis.  She taught us what it was like to have a feather on a lead.  Her movement was indescribable.  She took multiple Best of Breeds at Specialty shows, was BOB at the Canadian National Specialty from the classes in 1990 and one of the last two bitches in the Specials Class at the BHCA Nationals that same year.

CH Halcyon Show Me D'Way to Go Home was our introduction to the Lyn Mar line.  He is a classic stallion hound and even at 10 years of age still carries himself with pride.  He was used only twice at stud, but stands behind everything we have today.
